Kizumonogatari is a prequel to Bakemonogatari and Nekomonogatari Kuro, adapting the Koyomi Vamp arc that tells the story of Koyomi Araragi’s fateful spring break and his first encounter with a vampire oddity named Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade.
