Daughters Season 1 Episode 9

Pu comforts Ngoh and Yok returns home to his disapproving father while his mother excitedly asks him how his audition went. Ngoh returns home and asks her mother where she was. Duean’s landlord sees her mother at the nightclub and Pu goes out with Louis again, trying marijuana for the first time. Ngoh is disappointed with her mother’s dishonesty, and Mangkood comforts her. Duean’s neighbors call her mother out for being a prostitute and they get into a fight with Pam, Joe, and Duean, ending up with them going to the police station. Pu’s mother stays with Lookmoo at the hospital while Wasan and Pom are at home with Pu. Pu’s life is drastically upended after returning home and Duean’s mother is forced to sleep with the landlord to pay off her rent. Pu goes to school and starts thinking recklessly, with Ngoh being concerned for her safety.
